The JCRA reviews mergers and acquisitions in line with the Competition Law and our Guidelines. The proposed transaction met the threshold for consideration and therefore requires the JCRA's approval prior to its execution. 

Having completed an assessment, the JCRA approved the proposed transaction on 7 October 2026. Following confidentiality checks with the parties, a redacted version of the full Decision was published on 14 October 2026.
